PRESENT PERFECT TENSE






Recuerda que en el presente perfecto no se dice EXACTAMENTE CUÁNDO se realizó una acción. Para eso está el PAST SIMPLE:
I went to Madrid in 2003 (en 2003, se dice exactamente cuándo)
I have been to Madrid recently (recientemente, pero no se sabe si la semana pasada o cuándo).

PAST CONTINUOUS

FORMAS
Sujeto + Be en pasado (was / were) + verbo terminado en ING.



USOS

Se usa para acciones que
utiliza para describir acciones que se estaban desarrollando en el momento del pasado al que nos estamos refiriendo y que continuaron después de ese momento:

She was having breakfast this morning at 6.15
(estaba desayunando cuando la vi, y seguiría haciéndolo después)

El pasado continuo se utiliza también para referimos a dos acciones en el pasado, una de las cuales se completó, mientras que la otra continuaba: para la primera se utiliza el "past simple" y para la segunda el "past continuous":

My mother was cooking when my father called her
(Mi madre estaba cocinando cuando mi padre la llamó)

EXPRESIONES

Se utiliza mucho WHEN (cuando) y WHILE (mientras).

Ahora forma frases con PAST CONTINUOUS: #3 , #4

PAST SIMPLE


PRONUNCIACIÓN DEL PASADO DE VERBOS REGULARES

Si el verbo termina en "t" o "d", se le añade "id":

-Start: started (staartid)

-Mind: minded (maindid)

Si el verbo termina en cualquier otro SONIDO, se le añade "t" o "d":

-Look: looked (lukt)

-Stop: stopped (stopt)

-play: played (pleid)
